DC Schools Move Forward With Facility Improvement Plans
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The school district at USD 443 is well underway to implementing on an 85 million dollar facilities improvement bond approved by voters last year. Currently, thirteen modular rooms hold classes. That will end soon says school board member Jeff Hiers.
The bigger projects will take more time.
Dodge City High School is already filled to capacity. The expansion will ensure it has enough room for these schools over the next 15-20 years.
When the calendar turns next week the process begins for accepting applications to hire the next Superintendent in Dodge City to replace the retiring Alan Cunningham. Board member Jeff Hiers wants this to be a community effort.
Cunningham has served as superintendent since 2006.
