David G. Ballew

David G. Ballew, 53, died Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Dighton. He was born March 24, 1962 at Wichita to parents Clyde M. & Glenda L. (Perdue) Ballew. He married Kathy L. Brewer on November 1, 1980 at Latham.

David grew up in Butler County and graduated from Andover High School in 1981 where he was part of the Rodeo Club and wrestling team. He started working at the Co-op in Benton during the day and at the machine shop in Andover at night. He later moved to Leon where he worked on a ranch. In 2008 he moved to Lane County where he was a Ranch Hand for Jerry Riemann. David was involved with the Butler County 4-H club as a member and later as a 4-H leader. He enjoyed horseback riding checking cattle and taking his Grandson hunting. He was preceded in death by 1 Son- Keith Ballew.
