Damage Reported From Home Grease Fire

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Emergency responders were called out shortly after 5 on Sunday afternoon to the 2400 block of Koster for a grease fire.  A scented candle on top of the stove overheated.  Although the home owner ultimately put out the blaze, there was burns to his hand. Damage was estimated at 20,000 dollars.
