Crough To Be Examined at State Hospital in Larned
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) It has been decided that the man accused of stabbing a female employee at Wal-Mart April 6th will undergo a mental evaluation at the state hospital in Larned to determine his competency for standing trial.
The defendant 31 year old Quincy Crough arrived in Judge Robert Frederick’s courtroom Wednesday morning for a preliminary hearing. The assistant county prosecutor asked for the mental evaluation to which Crough’s attorney agreed. Crough has been in custody since his arrest. He is facing charges of first degree attempted murder and aggravated burglary. The judge set a July 28th court date for an update on the case.
