A Crash Claims Life of Man From Syracuse Piloting Small Plane
Syracuse, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A 54 year old man from Syracuse has died in a crash of a small plane. State troopers report that the Yak-52 plane piloted by Anthony Englert went down nose first shortly after 8 Monday morning. Troopers spotted the plane on East River Road in Hamilton County just off K27.
The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are taking the lead in this investigation to determine the exact cause of this crash.
