Craig Crist Jr.

Craig H. Crist, Jr., 84, of Liberal, passed away on Sunday March 25, 2018 at Southwest Medical center in Liberal, Kansas.

He was born on June 3, 1933 to Craig and Florence (Graves) Crist at Lahore, VA.

He was a graduate of Unionville High School in UnionVille, VA; class of 1950.

Craig moved to the Liberal area in 1951 to work with Ray L. Smith & Son Pipeline Construction Company. He then went to work for Hall Construction from 1955- 1974. In 1977 Craig purchased Don’s Tire Service, where he worked until he sold the business in 1977; after which he worked for Yellow Freight as a Truck Driver until his retirement in 1989. He was a member of the North Pamunkee Baptist Church in Orange County, VA.

Craig is survived by Two Sons – Paul D Crist of Fontana, CA and Ron Crist of Yukon, OK; Two Daughters – Ramona Hoeper of Dodge City, KS and Peggy Fox of Alva, OK; One Sister – Helen C Stewart of Orange, VA; Five Grand Children and Several Great Grand Children

He was preceded in death by his parents and One Daughter – Patty Cooke

There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place.
