Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) At first the parents of four year old Coy Anderson thought their son was experiencing growing pains, but it turned out to be much more serious.

Since then it has been hospital stays and hotel rooms for Brad, Coy’s father as he, his wife and doctors try to help Coy who has Duchene’s Muscular Dystrophy.  A Quality of Life Benefit is being held Sunday at the Finney County Fairgrounds.  Coy’s Uncle Cliff Bone says it will offer something for everyone.

The benefit will also have a reunion of the Sandhill River Band along with a 5L for adults and 1K for the kids. Donation is free will. Sunday’s event begins at 3:00 and lasts all day.  For more information go to Coy Anderson or Cliff Bone on facebook.  Coy also has a gofundme page too.
