Man Makes First Court Appearance on Attempted Murder Charge
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A man charged with attempted second degree murder after serving more than 2 decades for taking the life of his estranged wife in 1983 has bond set at two million dollars.
51 year old Paul Guebara is accused of shooting at 64 year old Raul Tapia on the 600 block of Bancroft Street February 24th. Tapia was taken by helicopter to a Wichita area hospital the night of the altercation. Guebarra was paroled in 2005. Guebarra’s next court appearance is April 20th.
