Convicted felon arrested after found passed out in car

Garden City, Kan (WesternKansasNews.Com) – On August 2, 2022, Officers of the Garden City Police Department were dispatched to the 1300 block of W. Fulton Street for a suspicious vehicle.

Officers located a man, identified as Cameron Taylor (31), Garden City, KS, asleep in the driver’s seat. Officers had knowledge that Taylor is a convicted felon in the state of Kansas. Through further investigation, Officers located a stolen firearm on Taylor and took him into custody.

A search of the vehicle was conducted, where Officers located an additional firearm, suspected stimulants and marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Taylor was lodged in the Finney County Jail on the following charges:

• Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon
• Possession of Stolen Property of Firearm
• Possession of Stimulants
• Possession of Marijuana
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (F)
