Construction Update On US-54 in Seward County
(westernkansasnews.com) Crews continue to work on expanding US-54 in Seward County. Two of the four new lanes are now finished, so the Kansas Department of Transportation has announced that traffic will move to the finished east bound lanes Thursday May 25. The work will remain ongoing on the new west bound lanes and road O is now open south of 54.
With the work ongoing on this $14.6 million project it is expected to be complete in July barring any weather delays.
