Milk Plant, Transload Facility Projects Moving Forward
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Construction is underway for Meadowlark Dairy’s new milk processing facility in Garden City. President and CEO of the Finney County Economic Development Corporation Lona DuVall even now this plant is bringing in jobs.
The next phase will cause some minor travel headaches going in and out of town.
Although final details are still being worked out on the proposed KDOT Transload facility in Garden City, DuVall says certain companies are still trying to sort out their level of involvement. For now the mystery remains.
The other question is when will KDOT announce how much they will chip in?
The more money KDOT commits the bigger the value of the project.
