Congressman Marshall speaks on Government reopening
Washington D.C.(westernkansasnews.com) Monday afternoon the House and Senate voted to end the government shutdown after three days. The agreement will fund the government through February 8. The government is now expected to work on a DACA resolution.
Kansas U.S. Congressman Roger Marshall, M.D. issued the following statement on the government reopening, following the three day shutdown.
“While disappointed in its existence, I am glad to put this government shutdown behind us. Political games only break our stride. Today, as we move forward I will continue to be laser focused on DACA solutions, the Farm Bill, infrastructure, border security, and trade. It is time to move on and work together.”
