Community Discussion Proceeding With Surprising Results

Scott City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Now going into its third year the Scott City Communities Discussion is working on tackling issues head on.  Katie Eisenhour, Executive Director of the Scott County Development Committee says a housing shortage will get needed relief soon.

But in the discussion some other problems were revealed.

Upgrading school facilities is now under the microscope including at the middle school.

The school district has also identified improvements needed for the grandstand at the football stadium.  Although a pricetag has not been determined for making these repairs, Eisenhour believes it is a good start to move along this conversation.
