Commissions Push Forward With Aquatics Park Plan
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Almost every hurdle you can think of has been cleared in getting the Dodge City’s new aquatics park ready to go. A joint session of the city and county commissions gave approval at Monday night’s meeting to go ahead with all the features recommended by the Community Facilities Advisory Board. Both commissions had to give their final approval since this project includes the issuing of bonds and falls under the “Why Not Dodge Tax”. Estimated cost is 10 million dollars.
