Colorado man dies in Hamilton County crash

Hamilton County, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–A Holly, Colorado man died in a single vehicle crash early Wednesday morning, just after 1:30 am.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2022 Ram 1500 driven by 39-year-old Toby Kandt of Holly was westbound on County Road 31, when he went of the roadway to the right, down an embankment towards a bridge, and made impact head on with the other embankment west of the bridge.

Kandt was taken to St. Catherine’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

According to the KHP report, he was not wearing a seatbelt.
