City Mourns Sudden Health Related Loss of Firefighter During Training Exercise

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) City officials are offering condolences after the sudden loss of one of their firefighters at the age of 49.  Ronnie Peek was going through scheduled training at the Labrador center on W. Mary Street when he experience shortness of breath and later died at St. Catherine Hospital.  Peek had sixteen years of service.  Funeral arrangements have not been finalized.
