City Looks at Water Fee Increase to Keep Infrastructure Sound

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Keeping water sustainable for Garden City residents became a topic of discussion at last week’s city commission meeting. A study looked into how much to charge for future years. City Manager Matt Allen says the main focus is to keep up with the demand while addressing infrastructure needs.

Allen says coming up with a fee is not easy when looking at the big picture.

Any fee increase would likely begin starting next year.
