Cities Mindful of Encouraging Healthier Living

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A long time ago cities were only concerned with growing and not how they grow. Garden City Manager Matt Allen believes times are changing.

Allen participated in a forum recently at the Kansas League of Municipalities and gives an example of how cities are becoming aware to encourage a healthier lifestyle.

Allen thinks cities are taking a larger responsibility in fostering better ways to get people more active.
