Following Garden City’s Footsteps in Determining Future Direction

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) We talked last week about both Scott City and Cimarron looking to their future in either devising comprehensive city plans or setting a new direction for key issues. Garden City was in the same boat about five or six year ago in coming up with their own plan they thought would work. City Manager Matt Allen says it started with a survey of 3,000.

The document did not focus on one important project, but on this group.

Livability focused on two areas more housing and walking options for residents.
