Cheryl Pollington Dohrmann

Cheryl Pollington Dohrmann, 66, died Monday, June 13, 2016 at Brookdale Senior Living in Dodge City. 

She was born February 10, 1950 at Dodge City, the daughter of Clayton “Kate” and Lorene (Ochs) Bradfield. A lifetime Dodge City resident, she operated Kates for 21 years and Last Chance Saloon for 10 years both in Dodge City. She was very family oriented and her love was her sons, grandchildren, brothers and sisters. She enjoyed dancing and the Depot Theater. 

In 1969 she married Boyd “Butch” Pollington at Dodge City. He preceded her in death on June 7, 2004. On December 21, 2009 she married Dennis Dohrmann at Dodge City. He preceded her in death on November 14, 2010. 

Survivors include: her 2 sons, Brad Pollington, Dodge City and Brady Pollington, Lawrence; her brother, John Bradfield and wife Sondra, Conway, Arkansas; 2 sisters, Linda Friess and husband Ron, Dodge City and Debbie Bradfield, Ashland; 6 grandchildren, Micah Pollington, Dodge City and Emily Pollington, Maria Pollington, Isaac Pollington, Olivia Pollington and Zoe Pollington all of Lawrence. 

She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dennis Bradfield. 

Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Friday, June 17, 2016 at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City with Rev. Randall Jahnke officiating. There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place. Friends may sign the register from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Thursday at Ziegler Funeral Chapel. Private family inurnment will be at a later date in the Ensign Cemetery, Ensign, Kansas.
