Cheryl Ann Hoskinson, 58, died Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at her home in Cimarron. 

She was born February 12, 1958 at Dodge City, the daughter of J.R. and Shirley Ann (George) Hoskinson. She was a lifetime Gray County resident and a graduate of Cimarron High School. She worked at Wallace Liquor and Presto both in Cimarron as well as a waitress and most recently as a cook at the Shepherd’s Center and for the Cimarron School District. 

She attended the First Christian Church in Cimarron and enjoyed reading and going to the Library. 

On February 12, 1999 she married Larry “Wolf” Maier. 

Survivors include: her 2 daughters, Carrie Blackwelder and companion, Robert Caswell, Guntersville, Alabama and Mandi Crow and companion, Danny Downtain, Cimarron; her mother, Shirley Davis, Cimarron; 3 brothers, Ray Brett Hoskinson and wife Jewel, Cimarron, Tod Clement Hoskinson and wife Chaney, Ingalls and Luke Anthony Davis, Cimarron; her sister, Patti Jean Davis, Cimarron; 7 grandchildren, Devin, Bryce, Ellie, Natalie, Jordan, Desirae and Aidan. 

She was preceded in death by her father and numerous uncles and aunts. 

Memorial services will be 10:00 am Monday, December 26, 2016 at the First Christian Church, Cimarron, with David Johnson officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Cimarron Cemetery. There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place.
