Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The issue of meeting certain quality requirements has been talked about recently between landlords and officials in Garden City. Both sides are trying to come up with a standard check list for new tenants when moving in. Planning and Community Development Director Kaleb Kentner brings up examples of complaints his office has received.
The concern from landlords is that a few bad apples sparked the drive for more oversight.
Kentner says there is a great deal of care on this issue since Garden City’s occupancy rate is close to 100%.
