Car Chase Ends in Arrest of 19 Year old Man From Garden City
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A 19 year old wanted for a felony in Finney County court is accused of ramming his car into a patrol car during a pursuit, crashed into a tree and attempted to hide out in a house occupied by an adult and six children shortly after 4:30 Monday afternoon.
The chase of Isaid Lopez-Chairez started on the 1600 block of St. John Street and ended in a residence on the 800 block of Pearl Street. Officers were able to escort everyone out of the house.
A passenger was injured when Lopez-Chairez’s vehicle struck the tree. The injured woman was treated and released from St. Catherine Hospital.
Lopez-Chairez is facing aggravated battery, kidnapping, child endangerment and drug possession charges.
