Cancelled Health Policy Holders Likely To Get Old Insurance Back
Topeka, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Tuesday’s announcement that Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas will reinstate 10-thousand policies originally cancelled because of mandates from Obamacare was a welcome relief. Linda Sheppard with the State Insurance Office is happy that Kansas has no real obstacles at allowing these plans to be renewed.
As for the cost Sheppard is convinced that these policy holders will be no worse off than before.
Sheppard is convinced that the state will have to emphasize this is only a temporary reprieve of one year before cancelled policy holders have to look for other options.
