Buster volleyball sweeps Dodge City
Dodge City, Kan (westernkansasnews.com)-Garden City Coach Harvey Sanders made his intentions clear following his team’s loss to Colby on Monday: “Dodge City is a trap game, and we have to come in prepared.”
Check! The Busters took care of any doubts with a three set 25-21, 25-22, 25-22 victory over the Conquistadors.
“We came in and did what we needed to do,” Sanders said afterwards. “There was nothing flashy; we just went in and got a conference win.”
Freshman and hometown kid Taylor Linenberger led the way for Garden City (10-19, 4-10) with 11 kills.
Meantime Dodge City lost their 24th straight match-falling to 4-29 overall and 0-14 in conference.
