Buster volleyball drops a four setter to Seward; Dodge loses in three
Liberal, Kan (westernkansasnews.com)-There’s definitely a different feeling around the Garden City volleyball team this year. But Harvey Sanders’ team is still trying to get over the hump.
That hump is Hutchinson and Seward, with the latter beating the Busters in four sets Wednesday night 25-23, 19-25, 14-25, 23-25.
“Our girls played their hearts out,” Sanders said afterwards. “They did the things we told them to do. They just came up short.”
The loss drops Garden City to 3-9 in conference play and 8-18 overall. Busters are back home Saturday afternoon against Otero.
