Business Burglary: Target
Garden City Police Department
On December 1, 2019, at approximately 4:00 A.M., Officers of the Garden City Police
Department were dispatched to 2401 E Kansas Ave. (Target), Garden City, KS, in
reference to a burglary that had just occurred. A Target employee notified the Garden City
Police Department after being alerted to internal alarms going off within the business.
Investigation revealed an unknown man, broke the glass to a door of the business, and
entered into the business without permission. The man then damaged property inside of
the store before taking items and exiting out of the business.
The man is about 5’9”-5’11” feet tall, weighing approximately 170-180lbs. The man was
wearing white or light-colored pants, black hoodie, and dark-colored clothing material
covering his face. The man was last seen running northbound from the business.
