Burkhart Ready To Market DC Chamber as New President

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) On the job a little more than a week, the Dodge City Chamber of Commerce has a new president. Tara Burkhart is originally from Olathe and moved to Dodge with her husband and took a job with Pepsi before applying to become the chamber president.

Burkhart graduated with a degree from K-State with a degree in journalism. She wants people to gain more awareness of what the chamber does and how they help businesses.

So what are her main objectives?

And there are other small things that can be done to bring about interest from outside Dodge City.

Burkhart believes generating tax revenue from outside the state will only help Dodge City area businesses grow.
