Building Bridges Connect Students with Perspective Employers
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Thursday night is the Building Bridges event at Garden City High School. Deb Jarmer with the Finney County Workforce Connection says the goal is to get students from eighth grade up to look ahead.
Panel discussions will be done with business professionals in sixteen career fields. Jarmer also wants to convince students they have a future right here.
The event itself is from 6-8:30 with refreshments served at 5:30. Registration will be done at the door.
