Buffs soccer routs TMP
Garden City, Kan (westernkansasnews.com)-Playing in their second-to-last regular-season game of the season, the Buffs didn’t waste anytime celebrating.
Eric Barrigan netted four goals and Garden City blasted Thomas Moore Prep 7-1 on Monday night at Buffalo Stadium.
“We played solid in the midfield,” Coach Josue Negron said following his team’s decisive victory. “It also felt good to be home after such a long road trip.”
With the win, the Buffs improved to 11-4 overall. They’re 6-1 in conference heading into their regular-season finale Tuesday at home against Hays. A victory and the Buffs clinch at least a tie of the Western Athletic Conference Title.
Kickoff is at 4:30 p.m.
