Buffs Soccer: Regional Champs!!!

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Garden City Buffaloes jumped out to a fast start and then held their ground scoring three first half goals in overtaking Wichita Northwest 3-0 in the regional soccer championship from Garden City.  

Freshman Alex Morales scored two goals in the 16th and 22nd.  Morales is enjoying the ride he is taking with his teammates.

Senior Sebastian Kyaw added another goal right before half and the Buffs cruised to the easy three goal win.  Buffs Coach Joaquin Padilla is pleased with what he has seen from his team.

Garden City improves to 14-4 and is expected to play Wichita East in the round of eight next Tuesday.  Northwest ends their season at 10-6-2.
