Buffs golf seventh; DCHS fourth

Manhattan, Kan (westernkansasnews.com)-The decision to not go to Guymon and play in Manhattan was simple: Better competition. Unfortunately for Garden City, the Buffaloes stumbled to a seventh place finish. 

As a team the Buffaloes fired off a 360 led by freshman Taylor Larsen who’s strong 40 on the back nine earned him a team-best 87. Logan Durst shot a 90, followed by Connor Schultz (91), Tucker Schiffelbein (92), Austin Swender (93) and Tristin Corrales (97). 

Dodge City placed fourth with a 332. Jace Larsen shot a 81 to pace the Demons. 

Topeka Seaman came in first with a 323.
