Buffs Basketball: High Expectations
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Both the Garden City High School Boys and Girls Basketball teams fell a game short of state last year and both are going to take different avenues in taking the next step.
The fans had a chance to see the players in actions during the annual Buffaloes Basketball preview. For Boys Coach Jacy Holloway he and his team are looking for senior post player Caleb Tramp to lead the way.
Tramp is aware that as a senior, its time for him to be the example.
Garden City also has good balance with guard Jared Koster a player who can create his own opportunities.
As for the girls team dealing with an injury to senior Jaime Bernbeck, Coach David Upton is going to utilize a different style of offense.
Few players are as quick as sophomore Abby Dart.
Breece Dreiling hears what is being said and that is why she has entered the season with a chip on her shoulders.
The Garden City boys and girls basketball teams start the season at the Hays Tournament December 4th.
