Buffaloes softball stays perfect; blows out Ulysses

Ulysses, KS (westernkansasnews.com)-Abbie Dart’s early season renaissance kept Garden City perfect on Tuesday. 

The junior pitcher struck out 15 as Garden City run-ruled Ulysses 14-0 in five innings. Game two was suspended because of wind with the Buffaloes leading 8-0. 

After scoring two runs in the 1st, the Buffaloes blew the game open in the second, plating 10 in the frame; sparked by Dart’s two-run double. 

Alyssa Long’s two-run double in the fourth capped off the scoring. 

Dart was sensational once again in the circle, losing out on a no hitter only after she gave up a bloop single in the fifth.
