Buffalo soccer shuts down Liberal
Liberal, KS-Garden City is making it a habit to lock down opposing teams.
Monday night was no different.
Makaylee Longoria scored on a penalty kick in the 25th minute, and Garden City improved to 6-1 on the season with a 1-0 win over Liberal at Redskins Stadium.
“We did not play our best, but we still found a way to win the game,” said goalie Kaylee Keller, who had two saves on the night.
Garden City out shot Liberal 9-4. They are back home Tuesday vs. TMP.
