Buffalo Soccer Improves to 4-1 with 10-0 win over TMP
The Garden City Buffalo soccer team picked up their fourth win of the season with a dominating 10-0 over Thomas More Prep/Marian on Tuesday.
Garden City scored five (including one own goal) goals in the first half starting with a Jesse Sotelo goal in the eighth minute. David Hernandez scored in the 15th minute followed by an own goal by the Monarchs. Bryant Tamayo would make it 4-0 with a goal in the 30th minute and Marvin Fierro would finish the scoring in the first half on an assit from Jio Munoz to make it 5-0.
The Buffaloes kept their foot on the gas with goals by Alex Macias, Tamayo, Omar Acevedo, Leo Hernandez and JR Mata in the second half.
Garden City out-shot TMP 25-2 in the game. Freshman goal keeper Chris Barragan had two saves.
Garden City (4-1) will continue WAC play and take on Liberal Thursday at Buffalo Stadium.
