Brownback Believes His Approach to Solving Budget Crunch is Balanced
(westernkansasnews.com) Governor Sam Brownback delivered his State of the State Address to the legislature Tuesday afternoon. Brownback cited factors in the economy as a main reason for the budget problems the state faces.
As for how to solve it, Brownback wants to streamline services first before raising taxes.
Brownback will submit a written budget proposal in Wednesday which will achieve what the governor calls balance.
