Broncbusters Phillips commits to Arizona (Audio)
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com)-Back in 2013, Delshawn Phillips was bright-eyed high school senior who had just committed to play football at Western Michigan.
His path appeared to be all set. That was until it wasn’t.
After agreeing to gray shirt for the Broncos, Phillips eventually landed at Garden City Community College last season. That move just opened another door for the Broncbusters linebacker.
Over the weekend, Phillips officially committed to Arizona becoming the Wildcats 24th commitment for the class of 2017.
Last season in Garden City, Phillips recorded 72 tackles-good for third on the team, while adding seven sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
