Bringing Gangs to Justice
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com)–The Dodge City Police Department and federal prosecutors continue their crackdown on gang activity. Another member of the Norteno gang has pleaded guilty to assault with a dangerous weapon in a federal racketeering case. 21 year old Andrew Gusman has been sentence to almost two years in federal prison. US Attorney Barry Grissom knows the importance of standing up to this type of activity.
Last month two members of the Norteno gang Pedro Garcia and Gonzalo Ramirez were convicted of murdering Isreal Peralta. Is this tough approach working? We’ll examine that part of the story Wednesday.
