Bonnie J. Pickett

Bonnie J. Pickett, age 87, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2016 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on August 13, 1929 in Scott County, Kansas, the daughter of Albert and Ethyl Miller Allen. A lifetime resident of Scott County, Kansas, she was a homemaker.

Memberships include the Prairie View Church of The Brethren of Friend, Kansas and HGL Club of Scott City, Kansas 

On November 30, 1947 she married June E. Pickett in Scott City, Kansas. He passed away on December 10, 2004 in Scott City, Kansas.

Survivors Include her One Son – Larry & Philene Pickett of Scott City, Kansas, One Daughter – Gloria & Larry Wright of Scott City, Kansas, Four Grandsons – Chris Pickett of Scott City, Kansas, Justin Wright & family of Holcomb, Kansas, Josh Wright & family of Garden City, Kansas, Joel Wright & family of Scott City, Kansas, One Brother – Edwin Allen of Scott City, Kansas, Seven Great Grandchildren and Several Nieces & Nephews 

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Two Brothers – George Allen and Donald Allen, and One Sister – Patricia

Funeral Services will be held at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016 with the Rev. Jon Tuttle presiding.

Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.

Memorials may be given to the Prairie View Church of the Brethren % Price & Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday and 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
