Bombers make easy work in state opener
Lyons, KS (westernkansasnews.com)-The word easy doesn’t get thrown around much during the postseason. But one look at the box score in this one, might make you think twice about that theory. Aric Rowland finished 2-for-2 at the plate with three RBI’s; Eric Hieman pitched five solid innings as Finney County ransacked Lyons 12-2 in the opening round of the Babe Ruth 14-and-under state tournament.
