BLM: Problems Identified in Wild Horse Deaths; Confident Worst is Over
Scott City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Bureau of Land Management continues their investigation into the recent deaths of 75 wild horses at a corral in Scott County. BLM spokesperson Paul McGuire cites advanced age as one of the reasons so many of these horses died.
Thanks to a cooperative effort McGuire is confident the worst is over.
McGuire says they made some slight changes to the horses diet and are satisfied with the results.
