Betty Jane Kollmeyer

Betty Jane Kollmeyer, 87 died Monday, June 13, 2016 at Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal, KS.

She was born on September 18, 1928, in Cascade, Missouri the daughter of Luther Augustus and Ina Olma (Myers) Clubb.
She was baptized into the Christian faith at Zion Lutheran Church at Gravelton, Missouri and confirmed in Olathe, Colorado.
She was married to Melvin Carl Kollmeyer on June 5th, 1955 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Farmington, Missouri. 
She worked in the family business with her brother in the Ben Franklin’s stores in Farmington, MO. Fallbrook, CA, and Delta, CO and Denver Dry Goods in Greeley, CO as a Retail Sales Clerk.
She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Liberal, KS. 

Survivors include:
Daughter Vicki Adams
3 grandchildren, Bethany, Andrew and Matthew Adams; Liberal, KS. 
Brother Hartland Clubb, of Montrose, Colorado;
Four nieces and three nephews

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Kollmeyer and four sisters: Mrs. Hortense Ross of Springfield Missouri and Mrs. Katherine Bohs of San Pablo, California, and Mrs. Blance Trotter of North Hollywood, California, an infant sister and her son-in-law Terry L. Adams, Liberal, KS.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Liberal, KS, with Pastor Andrew Wehling officiating. 

Graveside service will be held in Farmington, MO. 9:00 AM Friday, June 17, 2016, with Pastor Richard Foss, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Farmington, MO, officiating.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 pm Tuesday June 14, 2015 at Brenneman Funeral Home.
