Beth Ann Clothier, 79, died June 15, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Center in Dodge City.  She was born on September 21, 1937 at Dodge City, Kansas the daughter of Lee Herbert and Nathalie Evangeline (Shanteau) Clothier.

Beth Ann lived with her family in Ensign and later in Dodge City.  At the age of 2, she lost her hearing.  She went to elementary and high school at the Kansas School for the Deaf in Olathe.  Her family learned sign language while traveling with Beth Ann on the trips to and from the school.  After her graduation, Beth Ann returned to Dodge City and worked for a group of doctors as an assistant.  She held that job for several years, until the doctors closed the practice.  Beth Ann had an impact on many people.  They saw how she had overcome obstacles in her life and they were inspired to help others or work to overcome the obstacles they had.

Beth Ann is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Gerald and Alvin Clothier; a sister Willa Maxine Beadle.  She is survived by nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City on Tuesday June 20, 2017 at 2:00 PM with Rev.
