Beef Empire Days 2017 Enters Final Weekend
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Beef Empire Days 2017 has a big lineup for it’s last weekend. Starting at 2 p.m. this afternoon with the Carcas show at the Tyson plant and the awards banquet this evening at 6:30 p.m. at the Clarion Inn. Saturday starts at 6:30 a.m. with the chuckwagon breakfast at Stevens park followed by the parade on Main Street at 10:30 a.m.. Saturday wraps up at 1130 withe the zoo community feed. The event comes to an end Sunday with the person golf scramble at Buffalo Dunes beginning at 8 followed by the cattle crawl beginning at the Clarion Inn parking lot at 4:30.
