Bear Campaign: A Message Received with Open Arms
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) State troopers, Police and Fire were able to get the word out Thursday night that teddy bears can save lives. Each parent that stopped at one of four locations received a bear as a reminder not to leave their child unattended in a hot car.
Jennifer Seeman says its scary to think that something like this could ever happen. Firefighter Adam Patterson not only explained the bear campaign, but demonstrated how hot it can get in his fire truck.
Participants handing out bears all indicated a good response.
