The Battle Over Changing the Way Retailers Sell Alcohol
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) It has caused controversy and a worry that bigger retailers like Wal-mart and Dillons will push the smaller liquor stores out of business. Softening of liquor laws would allow full strength beer and and wine along with easier access to where alcohol is displayed at these stores. State Representative Bud Estes of Dodge City does not want to make a change.
The display issue also has Estes concerned.
Estes believes many of his colleagues from Western Kansas feels the same way.
