Banda Adds to Her Lawsuit For Violation of Civil Rights
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Leading cannabis and medical marijuana advocate Shona Banda of Garden City has added more defendants accusing them of a violation of civil rights over her arrest in using medical marijuana for Crohn’s Disease. Banda’s attorney Sarah Swain will file the paperwork to sue Garden City Police, USD 457 in Garden City, Governor Brownback and Children of Department and Families.
Banda’s preliminary hearing is set for November 16th. She has not entered a plea to the charges of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and child endangerment.
