Authorities Looking For Information on Eagle Shooting Last Month
Kearny County, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A reward is being offered for information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for a golden eagle shooting in Northwest Kearny County last month.
The eagle which may have been mistaken for a hawk was found on Road 270, approximately one half mile west of Road G on March 10th and its possible the shooting occurred several days prior.
Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to contact the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Office of Law Enforcement in Washington, KS at (785) 747-7539 or the local KDWPT Game Warden at (620) 282-7009, or Operation Game Thief hotline at (800) (877) 426 3843.
