Australian Meats Team Takes Tour of Industry in SW Kansas
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Members of the Australian meats team and their counterparts at Garden City Community College have developed a bond over the last couple of years and now the group from “Down Under” is in Southwest Kansas looking at our meat industry. Demi Lollback is instructor of the group and lists their travels.
Lollback’s student Olivia Swann does a compare and contrast of what the meat industry is like in her country and how it compares to the US.
The group will tour GCCC and go to Tyson before heading to Oklahoma and Texas in wrapping up their trip.
